Interested in Scouting?
If so, attend the Cub Scout Stampede, a great family-oriented event held annually by the Cascade Pacific Council! Learn what Cub Scouting is all about. Test your skills at Archery and BB Guns! Try a sample of Dutch Oven Cooking and watch the Black Powder Demonstration! Find out what Scouting has in store for you and your son, for today and in the future! Come for an hour or stay all day!

The cost is…FREE.

If your den or pack is just gearing up for the school year, the Cub Scout Stampede is an opportunity to attend as a unit to kick-off the program year. The gates open to the public at 9:00 a.m. and close at 3:00 p.m. Plenty of parking is available. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes. Families are reminded to bring their camera as there will be great opportunities for photos throughout the day.

What kind of fun is in store for my son and me?

  • Dutch Oven Cooking Demonstration and Tasting
  • Order of the Arrow (Scouting’s Honor Society) Presentations
  • Pioneering (Monkey Bridge and Knot Tying)
  • Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, and Space Derby Races
  • Camping Demonstration
  • Water Rockets
  • BB Guns and Archery
  • Other Scoutcrafts and Games

 

Lunch will be available for $5.00 from 11:30-1:00pm (includes hot dogs, chips, cookie and a drink) or you can bring your own sack lunch.

Cub Scout Stampedes will be at Cub World (click for a map) on the following days:

Saturday, October 22nd
