What is the CPC Eagle Scout Association?
The Cascade Pacific Council, Eagle Scout Association (CPCESA) is a fellowship of Eagle Scouts who currently reside in or earned Eagle rank in the 18-county area of the Cascade Pacific Council. Several membership levels are available: Lifetime ($1,000), Supporting ($100), Basic ($20) and Youth (Free- under age 21). Membership donations support the CPCESA Scholarship Fund.
What is the CPCESA College Scholarship Program?
Each year, the CPCESA offers college scholarships to outstanding Eagle Scouts in the Cascade Pacific Council who have distinguished themselves in accordance with the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
Applicant Eligibility:
Eagle Scout residing in council service area (OK to earn rank somewhere else!)
Minimum 3.0 grade point average
High school Senior
Scholarship Timeline:
- By October 15—Applications mailed to high school seniors (Application for download on CPC website year-round)
- December 10 —Deadline for all materials to be received at the Portland Service Center.
- Week of January 7 — Finalists selected & invited for interviews. Please don’t phone for status.
- Week of January 17 — Finalist interviews conducted at the Council Service Center in Portland.
- February— Scholarships presented at the annual Friends of Scouting Leadership Breakfasts.
